Dennis Chao

Dennis Chao currently serves as the Director of Finance for KIPP SoCal Public Schools and is a member of the 2017-2019 Broad Residency cohort. He leads budgeting and staffing for KIPP SoCal and keeps the organization on a path of financial sustainability. Dennis joined KIPP SoCal in 2014 after seven years in Valuation Advisory Services at Duff & Phelps. He managed personal property valuations for mergers & acquisitions across a wide spectrum of industries from power plants, pipelines, and refineries, to restaurants, movie theaters, and radio stations. Dennis received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
