Salary Structure

Our new teacher pay scale is among the best in the city, with a signing bonus up to $10,000 for credentialed teachers. Starting pay for a credentialed teacher is $70,000. See salary scales here:

Persist with Purpose Bonus

At KIPP SoCal, we honor the commitment that our teachers bring year after year, our teachers now enjoy salary increases of up to $20,000 in your first 5 years!

Certification Differentials

We offer additional differentials for teachers who join our organization with master’s degrees, advanced special education credentials, and National Board Certification up to $6K.

Referral Bonus

We believe that great teachers recruit great teachers. Submit a contact that leads to their hire, and you will receive a bonus up to $1K depending on the role. No limit.
