Christine Crawley

Christine Crawley is the proud School Leader of KIPP Compton Community School. Prior to joining KIPP SoCal, Christine was a teacher and leader at KIPP DC - Heights Academy, starting in 2014. She joined the KIPP Compton Community School Team and Family in 2020 as a founding 2nd grade lead teacher and grade level facilitator. She continued on to found 3rd grade and transitioned into the role of a manager on the Leadership Team. In these roles, she demonstrated what it takes to build trusting relationships with all members of the community - students, families and staff members. Her belief in making what may seem impossible, possible is driven by her belief in equitable educational experiences for all students. Christine received her BS in Community and Behavioral Health from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is passionate about education and looks forward to moving forward the learning opportunities for all students.
