Antonio Fielder

Antonio Fielder is the School Leader of KIPP Philosophers Academy in Watts. Antonio joined the KIPP SoCal Team and Family in 2017 at KIPP Scholar Academy in South Los Angeles as an 8th-grade ELA teacher. He was awarded KIPPstar Teacher of the Year in 2019. Before moving to Los Angeles, he taught in South Carolina and Mississippi, where his passion for teaching was ignited through his service with Teach for America. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Minor in African American Studies from the College of Charleston, and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Walden University. He is a graduate of the KIPP SoCal School Leader Fellow Program. Antonio is originally from Haines City, Florida. He enjoys going to the gym, hiking, traveling, and going out with friends in his spare time.
