Teri D. Green

Director of Information Technology

Teri Green joined KIPP SoCal in 2024. A Chicago native, Teri is an innovative IT leader with over 17 years of experience across the telecommunications, education, and technology services industries. She has successfully led and planned IT infrastructures, software deployments, and strategic operations. Teri holds five degrees: an Associate degree in Computer Science from Moraine Valley Community College, a Dual Bachelor’s in Information Technology Systems and Computer Engineering from the University of Phoenix, a Master’s in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Penn State University, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Policy and Law with a Cybersecurity emphasis at Purdue University. Additionally, she holds numerous certifications, including Advanced Cybersecurity from the University of Phoenix, CISSP, Information Security Professional (ISC2), IT Security Content Specialist, Inclusive Leadership Certificate from Catalyst, Strategic Applications of IT Project & Program Management from the University of Washington, and Agile Scrum Master.

Teri was the first CIO for Normandy Schools Collaborative and is the Founder/CIO of Lite Technology Solutions, LLC, a federal cybersecurity firm. She serves as the board president at EdPlus and holds advisory roles with CDW's Advisory Board for Education, Secure World STL Cybersecurity Board, Missouri State University's Executive Customer Experience Program, and the Advisory Council for Harvard Business Review. She is also a cybersecurity advisor for The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN). Teri's recent accolades include winning the Internet 2.0 Visionary Award in 2022 in Las Vegas, the Intercon Top Tech 100 Innovator and Influencer Award in 2020-2021, and being named one of the most influential women in cybersecurity, earning her a spot on the Cybersecurity Diva list.

Teri is currently a nominee for the Lifetime Achievement Award, to be presented in December in Dubai. She is passionate about mentoring and pays her knowledge forward through her involvement with the International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals (ICMCP) and the STL TechLX Women Executive Series.
