Mel Carlisle

Mel Carlisle joined Oaktree Capital Management in 1995 and is a managing director in the Opportunities group. From 2017 to 2021 he served as Chief Financial Officer of Oaktree Specialty Lending Corporation. Prior thereto, Mr. Carlisle was a manager in the Client and Fund Reporting Department of The TCW Group, Inc. Previously, he was employed in the Financial Services Group of Price Waterhouse. Mr. Carlisle received a BA degree in economics and accounting from Claremont McKenna College. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Mr. Carlisle serves on the Audit & Risk Committee.
