Every year, the KIPP Forward Scholarship Fund awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to KIPP SoCal alums entering college to help offset some of their college expenses and support their college journey.

At the center of KIPP Corazón Academy is the Family Leadership Council, which has been pivotal in fostering a strong sense of belonging among students, families, teachers, team members, and community members since the school’s founding in 2017.

In 2021, the KIPP Corazón Academy team put together a community tianguis (open-air market) to give families a space to sell their goods. This year, the tianguis featured 22 vendors and welcomed 400+ community members.
