KIPP Generations Academy (KGA), a tuition-free, college preparatory public school, serving grades 5-8, was the first KIPP SoCal school in Gardena. Founded on the philosophy that we honor our past, empower our present, and brighten our future, KIPP Generations amplified the strength of their students, families, and community through an education rooted in our identities and endless opportunities for all.

Although the physical structures of KIPP Generations Academy, KIPP Poder Public School, and KIPP Pueblo Unido have closed their doors, the heart, love, care, and joy of our families, team, and students will always remain with us. At KIPP, we say, “Once a KIPPster, always a KIPPster,” and the imprint of each of these special KIPP communities will live on in our memories and hearts.”
